01 · How a question travels
From one question to the right mind
You write the question
No browsing profiles or guessing who might know.
Private details stripped
Names and specifics are masked before anything is processed.
Topics and keywords scored
Against every imprint's indexed knowledge.
Top 3, with reasons
Ordered by fit and by how past answers were rated.
The imprint replies
Or you book the real person for the hard ones.
02 · Three layers of every imprint
Data stays in your hands. Intelligence works in the cloud.
Public layer
Only what the owner approves for paid questions. The only layer strangers can reach.
Authorized layer
Family and close friends the owner names, and no one else.
Private layer
Never used to answer anyone and never uploaded. It stays on the owner's device.
03 · What an answer looks like
Every answer follows three rules
- confidenceIt says how sure it isWhen the imprint isn't confident, it tells you instead of sounding certain.
- boundariesIt stays inside its laneEach expert sets which topics their imprint may answer, and how deep.
- escalateIt can hand you to the personQuestions that need the real expert can be upgraded to a paid session.
youShould I launch at $49/month or start with annual contracts only?
imprintWith no customers yet, I'd sell monthly at a price you'd be slightly embarrassed to raise, then offer annual at two months free once you have ten paying accounts. Annual-only at launch slows your learning: fewer, slower signals on whether the price is right.
04 · For experts
Your judgment, working while your calendar is full
We're onboarding a small group of consultants, advisors and mentors who already sell their time and can't sell more of it.
- materialYou share what already exists: courses, articles, talks, call recordings. We build and score the imprint.
- your timeAbout 30 minutes to review it before anything goes live.
- controlYou set its topics and depth. Delist any time.
- earningsMost of the revenue from every answer goes to you. Early experts get the best terms.
- demandWe bring real questions people have already asked in your field.
05 · Where the name comes from
Orphelon = Orpheus + Eidolon
Two Greek myths about loss, and about what can come back from it.
- orpheusThe musician who walked into the underworld, singing, to bring back the one he had lost.
- eidolonThe phantom double of Greek myth. The eidolon of Helen went to Troy, while the real Helen stayed in Egypt.
- orphelonBringing a person back from fading away: a double that still speaks in their voice. That is what a digital imprint is for.
